Mr. Corridans’ passion for physiotherapy stems from a road traffic accident when he was 7 years old. This was when he had his first encounter with physiotherapy, which he underwent to help him walk again. His specialty is sports injury and general musculoskeletal injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. He says his main emphasis as a physiotherapist is getting his patients “back to where they want to be in a timely and safe manner.” Additionally, he advises on future injury prevention techniques.
He is a keen middle distance runner and has inevitably suffered injuries, so he can sympathize with his patients. Stephen has worked with the England Handball team, Trinity Track and Field Team (Cayman Islands), Ballyfoilmore GAA, Plymouth Parnells GAA and numerous GAA team in Tipperary County. His other vocational experience is soundly grounded in sport as he has been a soccer coach in Ireland, England, Switzerland, Ghana and South Africa.
